Attendance at Immaculata is a privilege

Come see the ICS DIFFERNCE!

Immaculata is an intentionally small, private Catholic school for PreK to 8th grade students. We are not exclusively for the top 0.5% of students nor for the top 0.5% income-earning families.

Immaculata is appropriate for students interested in growth of mind, body, and spirit.  Attending Immaculata is a privilege. Not every child is ready for the challenge.

Immaculata also seeks families committed to our community and their child’s education. Every family signs a commitment agreement indicating their interest in their child’s success and the success of the entire Immaculata community.

Admissions: Step by Step

Acceptance into Immaculata is a five-step process.

Attendance at Immaculata is a privilege. Our goal is to find motivated, caring children and families who are strong in their faith and strong in their commitment to excellence.

Step 1: Application

If interested in PreK through 8th grade, complete our online Application.

If you have questions or want a copy of the Application sent to you, contact Andrea Avery at: aavery@immac.org.

Step 2: Parent Q&A

After we review the Application, the Immaculata office will be in touch to setup a 15- to 20-minute phone interview. This is an opportunity for families to gather more information about what makes Immaculata special.

Step 3: Child Shadow & Assessment

We ask every child to shadow at Immaculata for a minimum of half a school day. During this Shadow Day we will complete formal assessments.

Step 4: Parent Interview

We will ask additional questions about how we might be able to help your child. This also lets you gain additional insights into what makes ICS a special place.

Step 5: Enrollment

Join the wonderful Immaculata Family! Once Steps 1 – 4 are successfully completed, families are invited to submit Registration paperwork.

    1. Financial Aid: thanks to the generosity of our Immaculate Conception church, families, and others in the community Immaculata Catholic School has an extensive financial aid program. Our scholarship can cover partial to full tuition costs. Families must apply here: FACTS. Award amounts are based on number of applicants and relative need. By early summer, before the school year begins, most funds for the school year have been distributed.
    2. Opportunity Scholarship: the federal government offers a subsidy for families to attend private schools which can cover significant portions of current tuition rates. Families must apply and qualify for this scholarship at www.ncseaa.edu/k12/opportunity before enrolling.
