The Immaculata School community is committed to preparing each student spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically to face the challenges of a changing world.
At Immaculata, we believe that each child is a unique, creative and responsive person who grows and learns through interaction with others in an atmosphere of faith, which fosters Christian living.
We seek to create a learning environment which encourages higher order thinking skills through the development approach of thematic study with an integrated curriculum infused with Gospel values and coupled with team teaching, contemporized instructional methods enthusiastically delivered utilizing state of the art classroom technology tools.
The schools of the Diocese of Charlotte, which includes Immaculata Catholic School, have received District Accreditation from AdvanceEd, the governing body of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS/CASI).
Immaculata students and teachers plan and participate in daily prayer, sacramental programs, prayer services and weekly school masses. Masses and prayer services are listed on the monthly calendar and parents and other visitors are encouraged to attend these prayerful experiences. Our second graders are prepared and participate in the celebration of Penance and Eucharist for the first time in the fall and spring respectively. All students participate in a wide variety of community service and charitable events throughout the year that benefit families in the community. These annual events include food drives, clothing and toy drives, and monetary donations to organizations and ministries such as IAM and the Good Samaritan Fund. Immaculata is truly blessed to be served by pastors and brothers of the Franciscan Capuchin Friars of the Stigmata who through their daily participation in school life are committed to providing a solid Catholic education for the students of Immaculata Catholic School.
